Phoenix Moon Productions are a small and friendly amateur dramatics group that started back in 2015. We are based in Puckeridge, in Hertfordshire, just outside of Ware. Our group puts on shows, social event evenings in the form of quiz nights and we try and do a charity fund raising once a year to.
It has only been this year that we have started to work with Green Screen which has been a great addition to the group and means that we can go further with video production. We now have the ability to create some great promos, and maybe short videos, or even movies.
The last three shows have been written by Paul Blakes, the founder of the group, and to his surprise, all three shows have been very well received and very complimentary comments.
As well as group events that we put on for others, we also make time for ourselves and have our own social nights. We do various things throughout the year and we always have a Christmas event.
On June 22nd, our charity event took place. We walked 6 1/2 miles to raise money for the MS Society and for our group, the majority going to MS. This was close to our hearts as two of our members suffer with this horrible condition. We had a great day, and we did dress up as super heroes. Who knows what we will do next year.

We hold our rehearsals at Standon Village Hall, 3 Hadham Rd, Standon, Ware SG11 1LE. On Tuesday evenings from 8pm – 10pm.

Our last show, October 2023. A comedy about a smart speaker, a nagging wife, a hen pecked husband, and an annoying mother in law. All with a surprising turn of events. The show was a great success and a sequel has been asked for.
The second show that was written for the group back in 2022. Something different was tried here. A supernatural performance with a twist at the end.
The very first show written for Phoenix Moon Productions. A spooky comedy that had the audience laughing in their seats and wondering what was going to happen next. Due to popular demand, we shall be bringing this show back with a few ghostly changes, that even if your saw it the first time, you’ll want to see the new and extended version.
